Both services allow people to create courses rather easily, but in our experience, we found Springboard generally has a higher quality to their courses when directly compared to LinkedIn Learning.

Course Selection Review

Winner: LinkedIn Learning
LinkedIn Learning has more courses than Springboard.
LinkedIn Learning has more courses than Springboard. Both LinkedIn Learning and Springboard allow anyone that passes a basic screening to create courses.

Learning Platform Review

Winner: LinkedIn Learning
It was slightly easier to follow along & learn using LinkedIn Learning
When I talk about platforms, I am talking about the ways that the site teaches you, like video tutorials, interactive projects and hands-on testing, as well as awarding certificates. I really like the Springboard platform, but not as much as the learning experience provided by LinkedIn Learning. I do think both platforms are great ways to learn, but I found LinkedIn Learning better suited towards teaching me effectively.

User Experience Review

Winner: LinkedIn Learning
LinkedIn Learning has a slightly better user experience.
When we review the platform, we are looking at the learning angles of the experience, but for the User Experience Review we look at everything else, including the sign-up process, the wait-times, the quality of courses, support, emails, billing and more. While Springboard is a great experience from an end-user prospective LinkedIn Learning has the superior user experience overall. We recommend both services, but feel like LinkedIn Learning has the edge in this category.

Value Proposition Review

Winner: LinkedIn Learning
LinkedIn Learning offers a better value for most learners.
This is a tough category to judge because value is so subjective and some platforms are better values in certain situations but not others. To that end, in our opinion LinkedIn Learning seems to be the better value for most people, although there are some arguments for Springboard being a great value as well.

When I write reviews, I like to clearly outline the better choice. In this case, we have two great services, but LinkedIn Learning managed to take the victory. Final Thoughts

As you can see, when comparing LinkedIn Learning VS Springboard both platforms win in some areas and lose in others. There are definitely people who will get more out of one platform, then the other, but on the whole you really can’t go wrong with either. LinkedIn Learning is our recommendation, largely due to their focus on giving you access to a large number of courses for a single subscription price, but for some Springboard is still a better fit. Regardless of which of these two that you choose, both are fantastic!
